Terri here with a little round up of a few pages in my December 6 x 8 mini album. I absolutely love December and this Christmas time I was able to have 6 days off over the festive period however they seemed to get quickly filled with visiting family and friends. As a result I am way behind on my December album but I have plenty to put in there.
This month I am documenting the use of the We R Memory Keepers tearing rulers as the technique on these mini layouts. We were fortunate to get them as part of the kit at the GoGo Dayaway we held in November at Haydock, Merseyside.
The rulers create wavy, zigzag and deckle edge finishes to your torn papers. I love how the torn edges create a gentle flowing look to the pages. I’ve used them in quite a simple way for my mini pages and journal cards by just layering one or two torn edges per page.
The same design of torn edge can be layered on top of each other but for this page I chose to put the zigzag and wavy edge in to the mix. It is such a subtle technique the way I have used it but to make a bolder statement you can use multiple layers across the whole of the page.
