As you may have gathered from the GoGo Getaway design team blog posts this month we are all sharing our layouts for the Be Inspired challenges set at our October retreat. I’ve four of mine to share today, above you can see my layout for the Be Inspired challenge I set, a colour theme challenge.
I used the Maggie Holmes ‘Willow Lane’ collection from Crate Paper for my layout about the GoGo Getaway design team and our newest GoGo member, Niki’s sweet little baby Theo.
The second one I took part in was Madie’s technique challenge to create a shaped, stamped background.
I pulled out a load of my stamps to create a layout about one of my loves, coffee!
Next up I did Lorraine’s graphic challenge.
I love that there was so much journaling, perfect to tell a story about my eldest son and how he built his own amazing gaming computer.
Finally, I’m sharing a layout I made for Louise’s Different Element’s challenge.
I chose several items from the list; more than one photo, some stars, something metal, an envelope, an oversized number, an arrow, a stamped date and typed journaling. I used this challenge to document my friend’s 50th birthday party and all of the funny photos we got from the photo booth. The envelope contains another nine photos, totally nailed the more than one photo part! I used a mix of products from my stash including old October Afternoon ticket strips (cut from a 12 x 12 paper) and super old metal number brads from Around the Block.
Thanks so much for stopping by, see you next month!
