October GoGo-Getaway round up

Good morning!

Well looks like winter is well on it’s way – it’s foggy and wet outside my kitchen window this morning.  Hopefully my post will bring some sunshine to your day! I am here to share my take on the challenges we set for October’s retreat – I really enjoyed making these.

Challenge 1 Sarah Productvickie boutin product challenge madie ager-warner

This was Sarah’s product challenge – I had a pack of ephemera that had been sitting around for ages and I didn’t really know what to do with them.  I was inspired to use them as my background for this layout.

Challenge 2 Lorraine Graphicgraphic challenge madie ager-warner

I loved this challenge by Lorraine – I have been toying with the idea of writing on a layout for the longest time.  We don’t tend to like our own handwriting but scrap booking is about memory keeping, I was so pleased that I didn’t make any mistakes with my hand writing 🙂  The writing on the layout are lyrics to three of my favorite songs that have real sentimental value to me. The black sweeps of the paint reminded me of vinyl records!

Challenge 3 Esther's QuoteIndigo hill quote challenge madie ager-warner

This is my take on Esther quote – a fab way to use use up the ton of Thickers that we all have a stash of.

Challenge 8 Madie's Techniqueroller stamp challenge madie ager-warner

Lastly, this was my challenge that I set, using roller stamps and stamps to create a background shape, love the way it turned out.  That picture cracks me up, my sister and I messing around in a photo booth many many years ago!

Till next month 🙂
