Hello, it’s Louise here and it’s my turn to set a brand new month long challenge. For September I chose a quote.”Gratitude turns what you have into Enough”

I’d like you to use this quote on your layout / project and upload a picture of it as a comment on the GoGo Getaway facebook thread. The post will be pinned to the top of the GoGo Getaway facebook page for the whole month. The randomly chosen winner will receive 1000 Magpie points (worth £10) to spend in the Hey Little Magpie shop. All entries from our challenges will go into a ‘hat’ for the grand prize draw at the end of the year for a chance to win a place at the October 2019 GoGo Getaway retreat worth £380!

I love using quotes as a starting point for a layout especially if it gives me an excuse to use up some of my alpha stash.

Pinterest is a great resource for quotes particularly if you want one for a specific theme, this one is quite generic and can be utilised for a wide variety of topics.

I chose a family foot photo taken last summer on an outing to London, I converted it to B/W to allow me to choose a colour palette, I let the alphas dictate that, using blues and mustard and a little red, grounding the design with a little scalloped strip at the top and bottom

Here are a couple of layouts done by GoGo Design team, Niki’s design uses the quote as a backed cut file with a great tropical themed patterned paper.

Lisa has combined typewritten words and metallic alphas on this beautifully delicate layout.

Looking forward to seeing all the different ways you interpret this challenge.
