Hello Fellow Scrappers!
I love to get involved with the Be Inspired challenges from our GoGo Getaways. They’re always a fun and stress free way to scrap! I love to see the walls in the crop room grow over the weekend with everyone’s gorgeous layouts and it’s always amazing to see all the different interpretations. So fab and so inspiring.
So, my Be Inspired challenge for March was to be inspired by a product and how could I not choose the fabulous Box of Crayons by Shimelle?! And of course, Shimelle is teaching at GoGo Getaway in June… eeeeek!
You could interpret this in many different ways, be it using products from the range, using photos inspired by the range, such as children colouring or maybe a pet chameleon! Or even a cutfile…. I used products from the range.
I cut the large heart from the middle of the sheet, mounted it on white cardstock which I had cut to 11×11 and mounted back on the gutted piece. I then added various embellishments from the sticker collection, ephemera and cut apart sheets. I also added some ink and a couple of Perspectives by Bramble Fox.
Here are a couple of other challenge layouts set by the design team for the same weekend
Lisa’s Be Inspired… by a shape
Lorraine’s Be Inspired… by a Colour Theme
And last but not least, Terri’s Be Inspired by a Technique…. Fussy cutting.
Loved taking part in these and can’t wait to do the challenges at June’s GoGo Getaway.
That’s all from me! See you all soon x
