Marquee Letters Revisited by Nancy

Hi All, this month I am revisiting the marquee letter technique.  I love how these letters became popular a decor items last year, and love how they can transition on to a scrapbook page.

GGo Eden

The page I am sharing today is an 8×8 page which is part of my Cornwall trip mini album, I am really enjoying this size.

I knew that I wanted some sparkle on this layout, so I dug in some deep stash and found these loose glitters.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut a marquee font, and edited the file to remove the holes, so I had a blank outline of the letter.  I then just used some wet glue and the glitter to sparkle, I went with four different colours.  I also added some glitter to one of the die cuts that I wanted to use.

This page is going to act as a start to the section of the many, many photos that I took when at the Eden Project.  I am really looking forward to using all my cactus and succulent embellishments in this section of the album.

I kept the rest of the page simple and let the beautiful Marquee title do all the glittering and embellishing.  This is going to be something that I use in other parts of this album as I love the effect, and I have plenty of glitter colours to play with.

I hope you all have a wonderful month, an not long to the March Getaway and loads more inspiration to bring to my layouts.
