Hey there, Niki here with you today with my take on a class taught by Giselle back in October 2017. Giselle’s class used a circular Plaid Cut file and she decorated the file by filling the holes with different fabrics and stickers and she added a variety of stitching, some hand and some machine, some with chunky thread and some with normal cotton. Giselle’s layout was also male themed.
So here I am today with my version of this lovely class. I have also used a plaid cut file, which is by Just Nick. I have cut it on patterned paper and mounted it onto white cardstock.
I’ve added subtle stitching to my cut file and have not filled the holes with anything. I have however added some silver texture paste through a stencil into some of them.
I wanted to show off the lovely cut file and therefore built my layout in a cluster at the bottom, so therefore the top of the cut file remains on show and you can really see the stitching, which I did in a couple of different colours.
I’ve used the Forever my Always collection by Pebbles and used a number of pieces of the ephemera from that collection. I finished off with some puffy stickers, cardstock stickers, a flair badge and a heart perspextive.
I absolutely loved re-visiting this class and love my finished layout. Thanks for joining me today and happy scrapping xx
