Magical | Using Artist Inks

Magical Niki Rowland GoGo Getaway Artist Inks Cocoa Vanilla Bohemium Dream

Hey there, Niki here with you today and I’m re-visiting a technique we used at GoGo Getaway October 2017. Kirei taught a class using Artist Inks. She coloured in a cut file using them, she also mixed them and blended them to make lighter shades. Artist inks are lovely to work with, dry super quickly and finish with a gorgeous sheen.

I used the Bohemium Dream collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio to make my layout and I also used one of the giant chipboard words from the Dear Lizzy StarGazer Collection. I coloured the chipboard word with the Artist Inks. I was aiming for an ombre offect ie going light at the top and grandually working down to a darker colour, with seemless blends of the colours throughout. It hasn’t worked perfectly but it’s not bad!

I also used one of the Artist Inks to add flicks of colour onto my layout.

Thanks so much for joining me today, will you try out the Artist Inks?
