Hey there! Niki here with you today to share the challenges I set at the two recent GoGo Getaways.
At GoGo Getaway October 2017, I set a Product Challenge and I chose Paige Evans Turn the Page for my chosen product. For this challenge, participants had to use something from the Turn the Page collection on their layout, no matter how small, just something. This collection was available to buy in the Hey Little Magpie on-site shop, or if people didn’t want to buy, they had to find a friend who had some of the collection and bed, borrow or steal!
One of my favourite things to do is to be inspired by an element that I see in a paper collection and blow it up to a full sized page, and this is exactly what I did with this layout. That ‘Wonderful’ block was a chipboard sticker so I utilised the little 2×2 squares from the Swatch books to make the blocks (and sewed a border onto each one) and then cut the letters on my Silhouette.
At GoGo Getaway, Haydock, November 2017, I set a scraplift challenge and made a layout for people to scraplift. I loved seeing everyone’s different takes on my layout at the event.
Of course I went for a giant element becuase that seems to be my signature at the moment and went crazy with the Shimelle Glitter Girl collection becuase that was made for me and my sparkly girl!
I hope you have enjoyed my layouts and if you joined in with either of my challenges at the recent Getaways, then thank you so much xx
Happy scrapping xxx
