Hi GoGo Fans, Niki here today with my take on a class taught by Lorraine at the Ipswich GoGo Day Away event which took place back in July. Lorraine’s layout used a stitched shape and mediums were applied around the outside of the shape to make it stand out.
I started off by cutting a stitching template of a verticle rainbow on my Silhouette machine. I then stitched around the cloud and each leg of the rainbow with coordinating coloured threads. Once stitched I coloured in the rays of the rainbow with white gesso paint mixed with water colour paints. I then did the same around the outside of the stitched cloud shape.
There is a process video for you to view this technique which you can view below:
Once my painting was complete I added my photo, embellished the layout and added a title cut on the Silhouette machine.
Thank you so much for joining me today and happy scrapping xx
