Glitter glitter everywhere!

Hey there, Can’t quite believe it’s the end of July already and the school summer holiday has started!! Where is this year going?!!

Anyway, back to scrapping and I’m back this month to share the layout I created using Glitter Paste as inspired by Kirei’s beautiful “Heart This” class

I had a circle cut file which I knew would work perfect with the Bear Hug paper from the Little By Little collection by Shimelle (one of my personal favourites!) and set about fussy cutting some of the circles to fit the cut file. Once I had done that, I painted some of them with some silver glitter paste.

I then painted two of the flower pieces from the ephemera pack with pink glitter paste and set them aside to dry with the cut file.

I then added some glitter paste to the background paper (Lil Bit Lovely from the same collection!) through a stencil to add some sparkly spots.

Once it was all dry, I added foam pads to the back of the cut file to give it some depth on the page and embellished with some of the puffy stickers, enamel shapes and wooden button embellishments. I then backed my photo on another of the  patterned papers and added foam pads. I stuck a couple of pieces of the manufacturing strips under the photo. I fussy cut the little rabbit and added it to the bottom left of the photo along with some enamel shapes.

I then added the glitter paste flowers, one directly to the background paper and one raised on foam pads, to the other side and again, embellished with a tag, some puffy stickers, wooden button and enamel shapes!

I did want to make it any more fussy by adding a title so I settled for the “Captured This” ephemera piece which I thought worked perfectly and Voila! Layout done! 🙂

Hope you like it!

So, as you can see, you can use glitter paste in so many different ways. Give it a go!

Happy Scrapping!
