Gloss and Sparkle….

Hello it’s Lisa here signing in to share 2 techniques this month bringing some sparkle and shine. I have had a play with some Tinsel Glitter and Nuvo Drops.

Sarah shared with you an amazing festive page in which her Christmas Tree was decorated with “magic and sparkle” ….

This got me thinking about the tinsel glitter I have hidden here at home…. I had lots of fun creating a rainbow a colour at a time. The glitter stuck well with the wide nib glue pen and dried really quickly providing good coverage.

As the base for the LO the page came together quickly. I used papers from Fancy Pants Joy Parade adding some stickers from Simple  Stories Say Cheese 3. I am using these stickers throughout my Disney Albumn where appropriate to bring some consistency.

Continuing with the glitter theme and showing further detail of the parade I also completed a “Project Life” style page with further photos … I used the tinsel glitter to complete my title for the page adding glue to the alphas to hold the glitter on.

The colours have captured the fun of the parade.
Following the Disney theme and Nancy’s bright Nuvo class I was able to use my Nuvo Drops to draw the “Minnie Mouse” outline. This was easy to draw going back to basics using a plate and cup as my template.

The Nuvo Drops were easy to manage along the lines as I have completed a double outline I wanted to get a sketch design so allowed the line to stop and start which gave a slightly “blotched” feel… I will confess that I dropped a Little where I didn’t want it to go, however this has been covered by some stickers on my design and no one need know.. shhhh!

The outline is raised and so glossy in the page and I just love it.
