HI – Esther here to kick start a series of posts focusing on the techniques taught at the most recent GoGo Getaway in March 2017, I wasn’t able to to get there but hear it was an amazing weekend as always and there were certainly some great techniques to choose from. My layout today showcases marbling which Lisa taught with these lovely layouts –
I used shaving foam and distress re-inkers to create my marbling and once dry (which is super quick) I die cut and punched flowers and added Nuvo drops to the centres.
The marbling effect said 70’s to me so I used this photo of my sister and I all dressed up for a fancy dress party! I used the same inks dripped on some packaging, spritzed with water then smooshed onto my background cardstock, added some texture paste through a stencil and after layering the photo sprinkled the flowers and some sequins.
This was a super fun technique and so easy – if you feel inspired to have a go it would be lovely to see your layouts on the FB group where we also have our monthly challenge running which is a great sketch by Lorraine.
Happy Scrapping….Esther xx
