Inspiration… Inspiration

Camera Roll1

Hello again, Lisa here logged on to share with you some amazing inspiration. It feels so long since I was last logged on for which so much scrapping has taken place at the GoGo Getaway… alongside many laughs too.

Lisa's Colour

As an element of the GoGo Getaway the DT all set a challenge providing ideas and inspiration. I chose a colour challenge as above which allowed me to capture my LO seen above with the close up below of a very magical time that was spent in Disney.

I was not really happy with the focus or quality of the photo as it was taken rather quickly as we managed to “sneak” some time with Cinderella!!!

Trimming the photo and placing the  decorative acetate on top allowed me to make the most of the photo for which I was able to create a large cluster of embellishments around including  a little sparkle….

I also found the stitched diamond helped to bring the LO together….

Whilst at  the Getaway I managed to “sneak in” some time to join in with the Inspiration shared by the other DT members….  I found it helped greatly in the construction of the LO’s I completed….

Nancy's Moodboard

The mood board above allowed me to capture a winters photo of “Little Lady” adding some sparkle and shine with flowers too…. and whilst I don’t have doughnuts on my page the LO has captured the feel of the board…

I love how the inspiration becomes a starting point for a LO making the process easier….

Niki's Elements

Niki’s elements brought forward a bright summery LO using Gelatos as a base. I was able to complete all the elements listed the fussy cut: shades of yellow: Ripping and frame with Stars and Stripes too…

I had a play with Sarah’s sketch… which provided great opportunity to scrap a visit to Pizza Planet… never did I ever imagine that I would include Pizza paper on a LO! However it seemed a perfect match to the sketch….

Sarah's Sketch

The large circle element which I have stitched almost depicts the Pizza, before shared! The boys enjoyed the meal greatly,  however they spent some of their time searching for Woody and Andy!

I struggled a little with the colour theme by Giselle… as these a colours I would not normally feature together in a LO….

Giselle's colour

Whilst I also have a little red on the LO as you can see although with slightly different shades the colours are on the LO… and it’s worked well to capture a visit to the zoo!!!

 Fun with another sketch…

Kirei's Sketch

I had great fun capturing the drinks that “got me through” and hot visit to Disney. The patterned paper showed to work well. The side element on the sketch I changed placing it to the left side of the page… allowing for a large title “Regular Stops”…

With paper layers behind the photo and small clusters of stars and Nuvo drops the LO came together very quickly….

Terri's Elements

Terri’s elements I completed with another “full house” of elements. This allowed for a LO of “Tiny Toes” … The LO is graphic in its composition with a little glitter on my luggage tag too…

Lastly Lorraine’s LO took ages to complete. I hand drew a peacock feather stitching it in fine gold thread.  Something my Home Economics teacher would be quite pleased with….

Lorraine's Moodboard

I used the challenge wording as my title alongside a simple black and white photo of “Little Lady” sleeping…

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my “close ups” this month of the challenges I had such fun with at the Getaway… I will be on the GoGo Getaway Facebook page real soon sharing with you the complete pages…

The challenges were such fun… if you have not completed any yet maybe you could use them next time you scrap….

See you soon… xxxx
