Fringe Benefits revisited!

Hi All,

Sarah back with you today!

Sharing my take on Lorraine’s beautiful Fringe Benefits class.

FringeBenefits Lorraine

I used the pink ombre fringe effect paper from the Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Bloom collection and cut it in to strips. I then snipped into the strips on the lines of the fringe print, leaving a border at the top. I stuck it on to white cardstock by applying wet glue along the top edge, layering the ombre effect as I went. For the last row I used a crepe paper streamer and snipped in to that to make it a fringe effect.  Once it was all stuck down and dried I gently lifted the sections to make the fringe lift up from the page.

I mounted the photo on another subtly patterned paper from the same collection and raised it up with foam pads. I used a chipboard tag from the Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Oasis chipboard sheet and which I layered under the photo and added the Grow and Hug tags which I fussy cut from another sheet out of the Bloom collection. A few more chipboard pieces and a couple of enamel dots here and there to complete the embellishments as I didn’t want to take too much away from the paper itself.

Added an Amy Tan Thickers word and a different glitter Thickers Alpha and the page was all done.

Hope you like and it inspires you to go and dig out that sheet of paper to use for the same purpose.

Thanks for looking.
