Magic tissue colours….

Hello everyone, Lisa here with a post looking at another way to use tissue paper within a Layout. tissue can be very versatile and comes in so many colours and designs. Rebekah has previously completed a class at a GoGo Getaway in October 2016 with scrunched up paper painted.

I decided to use the tissue paper as within a colour block to provide texture and a focus on the page. Having seen a beautiful range of colours within Pink Paislee, Paige Evans Oh my Heart. I chose to recreate a similar design with paint on plain white card. I trimmed the card slightly and and backed it on clear acetate with a pink lined design.

I chose the gold and pale pink colour centrally on the page to add the tissue paper on, for extra sparkle I used a wet glue adding gold glitter.

The layout came together really quickly once my photo was placed, which I mounted on pale pink vellum to match the castle.

I added Nuvo drops and minimal embellishments with some stickers alongside the title. I am happy with the page which has no cardstock but has lots of little elements of detail to draw the eye in.

It’s a great technique and cheap… allowing more pennies for other items of “stash”!!!

Until next time,
