Shake, shake, shake …

I can’t believe we are already at the end of February already, where is 2017 going! I’m here with my take on Niki’s Confetti Pockets class from the October 2016 GoGo Getaway. It is really great to see how we have all taken this technique and created layouts that are so different.

To make the oversized bunting  beneath my photo I used my new fuse tool and some page protectors. Using a page protector I cut fish tail flag shapes and then sealed them on 3 sides using my fuse tool. I added in some coordinating sequins to the pocket created and then sealed the top. To stick the pockets to my layout I used a small strip of red tape at the top which was then hidden by the photographs.

I’m still loving this Crate Paper collection for documenting our winter outings. The little cartoon figures in this collection are so cute. I used 2 photos of different sizes and orientations which I wasn’t sure about at first but love the end result.

I would love to see your take on the confetti pockets technique so head over to our facebook group to share them with us.

Happy Scrapping!
