Hi All, Hope you ate having a scrap-filled weekend!
I’m here this month with my revisit to Rebekah’s class Crumpled Heap. I have so much tissue paper hoarded in my stash, this was a great way to use a teeny fraction of it!
I based the page around the cut file and had the perfect photo to go with it! I used some glitter paint on the stars and sprayed the whole cut file with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine in Ocean to make it stand out from the background.
I then crumpled and stuck the tissue paper down with some wet glue and sprayed that with the same colour shine and added some white paint splats.
I layered the photo on some papers from the Crate Paper Cool Kid range and raised it up on foam pads. I added a few strips from the cut apart paper sheet from Shimelle’s Starshine Collection, still going with the clouds/stars theme. I found some velum clouds in my stash which I added to the top of the page with staples. Raised the cloud and stars up on foam pads and embellished with some stars from the Cool Kid range, a star bead, flair and cork clouds and decided to use the acetate piece from the Starshine collection as the title.
Really pleased with the effect and I love all the texture and depth it gives the page.
Hope this inspires you to have a go 🙂
